Terms & Conditions

This document sets out the terms and conditions between Talent Summit (organised by Sigmar Recruitment Consultants Ltd) and any person who purchases a ticket, registers for an event, subscribes to our digital communications, or participates in our surveys. By engaging in any of these activities, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. EVENT ORGANISER

Talent Summit is organised by Sigmar Recruitment Consultants Ltd ("the Organiser"), 13 Hume Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.

2. TICKET PURCHASE & DELIVERY

  • Transactions: Tickets are delivered electronically via email upon successful payment.

  • Right of Rejection: The Organiser reserves the right to reject any ticket purchase within seven (7) days of payment. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

  • Entry: A printed or digital ticket with a valid barcode/QR code is required for entry.

3. TICKET HANDLING & RESALE

  • Resale Prohibited: In accordance with the Sale of Tickets (Cultural, Entertainment, Recreational and Sporting Events) Act 2021, tickets may not be resold for profit or above face value. Doing so voids the ticket.

  • Assignment: All tickets must be assigned to a named attendee (including Job Title and Company).

  • Reassignment: Ticket reassignment is permitted; however, the Organiser reserves the right to reject the new attendee within seven (7) days of the request. Please contact the Organiser before initiating a transfer.

4. CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT & REFUNDS

  • No Refunds: Talent Summit tickets are non-refundable.

  • Transfer Policy: If you cannot attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to another Talent Summit event occurring within thirteen (13) months. Transfer requests must be made in writing to talentsummit@sigmar.ie.

  • Force Majeure: The Organiser is not liable for cancellation or postponement due to an "Act of God" or "Fortuitous Event," including but not limited to: war, fire, strike, extreme weather, or public health emergencies/pandemics.

  • Programme Changes: While speakers are confirmed in advance, the Organiser reserves the right to substitute speakers or topics without notice or liability.

5. ACCESSIBILITY & INCLUSION

In accordance with the European Accessibility Act (S.I. 636/2023), we strive to ensure our digital ticketing and event app (CrowdComms) are accessible. If you have specific accessibility or sensory requirements, please contact us talentsummit@sigmar.ie.

6. EVENT APP & LEAD SCANNING

Talent Summit utilises the CrowdComms platform to enhance attendee experience and networking.

  • Lead Scanning: Partners and sponsors may use scanning technology at their stands. By allowing a partner to scan your badge or digital QR code, you provide explicit consent for the Organiser to share your registration data (Name, Job Title, Company, and Email) with that specific partner.

  • Networking: Your attendee profile may be visible to others within the app. You can manage your visibility or opt-out of the attendee list directly within the CrowdComms app settings.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING & AUDIO

Talent Summit is a recorded media event.

  • Notice of Filming: By attending, you acknowledge you may be photographed or filmed.

  • Privacy Opt-Out: If you do not wish to be photographed, please request a "No Photo" Lanyard at the registration desk. Our media team will use reasonable endeavours to avoid capturing individuals wearing these lanyards in close-up shots.

8. SPEAKER CONTENT & IP

The Organiser reserves the right to share speaker presentations, slide decks, and recordings with attendees post-event. All intellectual property remains with the original creator, and reproduction for commercial gain is prohibited.

9. EXHIBITOR & RENTAL EQUIPMENT

All equipment supplied to exhibitors is on a rental basis. Exhibitors are liable for any damages or loss. Any complaints regarding equipment must be lodged before the event opens. The hirer must insure equipment "all risk" until collection by authorised staff.
